I think the multidirectional scarf pattern is quickly becoming a stand-by for me. I've made three already. I don't have plans for another one just yet, but I can foresee it happening. I know my mother would like one, but I'd have to get my hands on some Tidiori or other comparable yarn since she is allergic to wool.
I also finished this:

This is just a generic feather and fan pattern. I used two skeins of Manos de Uruguay in color #115. I am just slightly obsessed with red, so this one is a keeper. I thought about putting it in a Future Gift box, but it is so soft, has great drape, and is nice and heavy that I just have to keep it for myself. Selfish? I think not. I need some good stuff going on in my life right now!
Christmas knitting has ground to a halt. I really need to get my arse in gear on that one. I have the lace scarf, a baby sack hat, something for my mom, something for a friend of mine, and something for a professor to make. Plus, my mom's side of the family hasn't drawn names yet that I know of. There may be another person to add to my list soon!
In other new, my apartment complex is letting me out of our lease and into another apartment here. It is going to be rough financially, but I know I can make it work. The down side is that I cannot move until the end of December. I am sure the time will go quickly, especially since my friends are looking out for me and keeping me distracted. I started seeing a counselor as well. I know I am going to be just fine. I'm just really anxious to get started on my new life!
Do you have big plans for the weekend? I might go walking in my new sneakers. They came in this box:

I also plan on doing a lot of this:

Holy cow. The kitty in the box looks like my kitty's twin. Identical twin. Crazy.
I know! We've dicussed this before. I think they may have been separated at birth!
Also, I think I may participate in Norovember by making a purse out of Kujaku. :)
